Identification & Documents

National Identity Card or Resident Certificate (valid 6+ months), Driver's License
Lessee must be at least 20 years old with at least 1 year of driving experience , have no criminal record, and have no outstanding fines( any outstanding tickets make the lessee ineligible to rent )
Subscribers must be between 20 and 65 years old, possess a national ID card, and hold a valid domestic driver’s license. Once approved, they can pay the deposit and await vehicle pickup.

Deposits

A credit card hold of TWD 10,000 will be placed.
After the vehicle is successfully returned, The deposit will be refunded to the original credit card within one month after the vehicle is successfully returned.

Vehicle Insurance

In the event of vehicle damage, except for non-compensable actions such as drunk driving, unexplained vehicle damage, breach of contract, etc., the lessee shall be responsible for vehicle repair costs up to a deductible of TWD 50,000.

Note: For insurance upgrades, please contact the store representative.

(Excluding 20% loss of revenue and depreciation)

(In the event of total loss, the lessee shall be responsible for 25% of vehicle value and loss of revenue for 20 days)

(Applies only to collisions with other vehicles)

Theft Insurance

In the event of vehicle theft, the lessee shall bear 10% of the vehicle value as the deductible.

Passenger Insurance

Within the specified number of passengers, the maximum compensation for each person is TWD 1 million.

Compulsory Liability Insurance

Maximum payout per victim of traffic accident is TWD 2 million.

Driver Injury Insurance

The maximum compensation for driver injury is TWD 1 million.

Third-Party Liability Insurance

Third party accidental injury liability insurance. (deductible of TWD 10,000 for filing an insurance claim)

Maximum compensation TWD 1 million per injured/dead person.

Maximum total compensation TWD 2 million per accident for injured/dead.

Maximum property damage compensation TWD 500 thousand per accident.

Cancellation Policy

The deposit

The deposit amount is 30% of the total rental fees regardless of weekends, holidays, consecutive holidays or national holidays.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for Reservations

If the lessee cancels 10 or more days prior to the scheduled rental date, 100% of the deposit shall be refunded.
If the lessee cancels 7 to 9 days prior, 50% of the deposit shall be refunded.
If the lessee cancels 4 to 6 days prior, 40% of the deposit shall be refunded.
If the lessee cancels 2 to 3 days prior, 30% of the deposit shall be refunded.
If the lessee cancels 1 day prior, 20% of the deposit shall be refunded.
If the lessee cancels on the day of rental or fails to notify, the lessor may retain the full deposit.
In the event of natural disaster, force majeure or other reasons not attributable to either party rendering performance impossible, the full deposit shall be returned.

Late Vehicle Return

Stated in Article 6 of the 'Matters Which Must and Must Not Be Included', a late fee equivalent to 1/10 of the daily rental rate shall apply for every hour late, capped at the equivalent of one full day's rental fee for delays of 6 hours or more.

Any matters not specified shall be subject to the provisions on Matters Which Must and Must Not Be Included in Car Rental Standard Form Contracts promulgated by the Executive Yuan, R.O.C.(Taiwan).
